The First

My first project ever. The client needed a support piece for their home to anchor their couch and provide some additional storage. The door designs and door pulls echo some of the unique aspects of the home mainly drawing from an antique stained glass feature fixed above the homes front window. I had previously never worked with hardwood. Using Red Oak, I learned the basics of joinery, and pushed through more complicated techniques with the door details. This piece got me off the ground running and ready to challenge myself more and more with each build.
